A low-pressure system currently over the Norwegian Sea is expected to bring large amounts of rain on Wednesday morning. SMHI warns of heavy showers along the coast between 2 a.m. and 12 p.m., with the possibility of intense rainfall over a short period.

Thunder is also possible, with total rainfall potentially reaching up to 50 millimeters. The warning extends from the southern county border up to the Byske area.

SMHI notes that the rain could lead to flooding in basements, storm-water systems, roads, and underpasses. There is also a risk of vehicles aquaplaning, so extra care while driving should be taken.
