Urinated outside the festival area – was fined at Summertime

”A pleasant and calm event”, is how the police summarises the first Summertime night.
More than 30 people were turned away from the area and one person got fined after having urinated just outside of the festival area.

The night between Thursday and Friday, both police officers and guards patrolled the festival area at Norrvalla in Skellefteå. There were no police reports on the site.

Just outside the area however, a person was standing peeing. The person was awarded a fine for public urination.

A total of 31 people were turned away by guards and outside of the area there were a number of speed and sobriety checks during the evening. Everyone were sober but eleven drivers were stopped for speeding.

The police announces on its website that the total assessment is that it was a well-visited events and that both guards and the police perceived it to be a pleasant and calm event.
