This summer, she will become the new chief financial officer (CFO) of the airline Finnair.

– With her strategic vision and solid financial expertise, Pia will be a valuable addition to the Finnair team as we continue to move forward, said the airline’s CEO, Turkka Kuusisto, in a press release.

Aaltonen-Forsell herself said the following in the press release:

– Strong balance sheets and financial discipline have always been important to me – they are the backbone of every successful company. But what really drives business results is a strong, united team with a shared goal. I look forward to working closely with teams across Finnair.
