Food prices went up just 0.4 percent in April, according to price-checking site Matpriskollen. That’s a much smaller increase than in recent months, and it could mean that the sharp rise in food costs is finally slowing down.

Out of more than 40,000 food items Matpriskollen looked at, 21 percent actually got cheaper in April. That’s about the same number as the items that became more expensive.

But if you’re a coffee lover, the news isn’t great. Some coffee brands went up by nearly 40 percent in certain stores – and there’s no sign those prices will drop soon.
