Indian company potential Northvolt buyer

There are five serious parties interested in putting in a bid för the Northvolt bankruptcy estate. 
It involves companies from several countries, including India. 
The race against the clock continues as the factory is now closed down but the bankruptcy receiver has high hopes of reaching a deal this month.

As Norran has previously reported, there are five interested parties that are looking to place a bid on the bankruptcy estate.

Just under a month. That's the time that Northvolt's bankruptcy receiver has to get a deal done that can give a fresh start to the factory in Skellefteå. The bankruptcy receiver Mikael Kubu told DN that some form of agreement needs to be met in July. Otherwise, the costs of keeping employees and the properties running will be too high for the bankruptcy estate.

This week it also became known that several of those involved has visited Skellefteå to inspect the facility.

Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, Ebba Busch (KD) has met at least two of the stakeholders, which Di was first to report. She and her state secretary Sara Modig have had both physical and digital meetings with the stakeholders, according to Di.
