Eurovision on Ice 2024 was a series of sparkling performances by the Skellefteå Figure Skating Club.
From youngsters just starting out at three years old to seasoned skaters in their fifties, all took to the ice and showcased their passion for the sport.
– There's been a lot of hard work and dedication leading up to this, said coach Klara Vikström, before the show.
Throughout the season, many club members have competed across Sweden, bringing home impressive medals and achievements.
However, Saturday's event was about pure enjoyment and sharing the love of figure skating.
– The focus was on having fun and performing together as a team, Vikström emphasized.
The show marked the closing of the season for the club.
Hundreds of skaters, from beginners to seasoned performers, have spent autumn to spring honing their skills, experiencing victories and setbacks, and ultimately finding joy in the sport. Now, it's time for a well-deserved summer break.
Saturday's afternoon performance was filled with laughter, teamwork, and pure joy, as the more than 50 brilliant photos attest to.
– We've been looking forward to this since we started planning back in November, Vikström concludes.
– This show was the culmination of the season, a chance for all our skaters to come together and share their passion.
